Madison is studying English and Hospitality Management. She would like to use her English degree within the hospitality field, documenting travel experiences and working at a vacation resort focusing on website content and guest communication.

Martin would like to become an airline pilot and will study aeronautical science while completing his flight ratings.

Attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
Antoinette is working on her degree at Embry-Riddle in cybersecurity. She would like to work in the public sector, preferably at the NSA or FBI. The private sector is also an option for her.

Lucas is working to become a leading engineer and designer in the automotive industry. He is most interested in working on high performance vehicles. He is interested in smaller aftermarket performance companies like Roush, Hennessy, or APR, but would also enjoy working for a large OEM like Ford, Chevrolet, or Volkswagen.

You must be the child of an active JetBlue Pilot who is in good standing with the Blue Pilot Fund. You must be a senior in high school who has been accepted to or are college age and currently attending a College, University, trade school or Part 61 or 141 flight school or already attending”
The Student should fill out the application with all of their personal info and then any other information required about the BPF member.
If your student is undecided on whether they are even going to attend school this year, or not they must wait for the next scholarship cycle
If your student has many applications out and is just undecided on which one they will actually accept and attend, then put down the school of their first choice
No. All scholarship money comes from outside donations, money from merch purchases and interest accrued from money not yet distributed to a hardship pilot.
People in general wonder if they qualify for help and many don’t reach out till they are really under water. Many aren’t aware that there is some financial education available to them, as well as counseling (non psychiatric) that could help with going through a rough patch. And many don’t understand the importance of buy up on both STD and LTD before it’s too late to add it ie after they have already gone out on a disability. As for the evaluations those things are discovered with just talking to them.
